I was tasked by Delaware Engineering to rebrand the marketing for their annual golf tournament during my internship. I worked with the head of the golf tournament event to take elements from the previous designs and create a more cohesive marketing portfolio.
My approach was to combine parts from the existing documentation and the company's styleboard to create cohesive documents that align with the company's current marketing goals.
I used the company's styleboard to guide my color and typography choices to ensure I was complying with the existing style in order to seamlessly integrate my content with existing marketing designs.
This document is the save the date that will be sent out yearly to all of the sponsors to inform them of details about the event. This document went through several iterations before landing on this design. It was requested that I use this photograph to showcase the American Legion Riders whom the donations from the golf tournament go to. I wanted to make the design feel balanced while still displaying the information in a scannable format.
This was a new document that I was asked to create. It is a decorative glossy photo that will be sent out to each team along with the Sponsor Appreciation Booklet to thank them for donating the year prior. I wanted to go for a more simplistic design for this document because each of the team photos varied in how busy the background was. I didn't want my design to overpower or clash with the content of the photos.
This booklet was sent out to all of the teams who donated the year prior to thank them for their generosity. This was a more involved document to make for the golf tournament because there were several pages to consider. In all of the booklets, there were a few pages that were different for each company/team. I had to ensure I was creating a cohesive design for each page so that none of them looked out of place.

While designing these documents, I learned about the importance of timeless designs and sticking to brand guidelines. When observing previously created documents, they didn't align with the company's branding specifications which resulted in them looking dated and out of place. I worked to ensure that my designs would remain relevant to use for many years to come.
